Psalm 1:1 tells us we should not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. What truly makes Christian counseling unique is care for the whole person - the spiritual as well as the emotional. The goal is to allow God to bring the client to a place of hope and healing.

 

This is done by providing support and promoting insight. Respect for the dignity and worth of each individual is paramount to the process. We gently use biblical truth to bring a person to a place of being able to apply God's truth to their situation. The mission of counseling at Grace is to provide quality counseling that is a blend of both professional clinical skill and biblical truth.
